We’ve included a list of all the materials you will need to do this quick and easy DIY Project!
EXTERIOR WALLS
A new coat of paint is like a face lift for your house, changing the appearance from meh to mmmm-hmmm. For reference: Wood should be re-painted every three to seven years. Not only painting the outside of your house is a great idea but you can also paint the inside weather its the living room, bedrooms, office, even the laundry room! Changing any of these will give your home a new and fun look. If you have small room and you want to make them appear bigger than paint them with light colors. Dark colors will absorb all the light and make the room appear smaller than what it truly is.
DON’t use Just Paint for the exterior as a homeowner you may not want paint every few years. You can always look into longer lasting exterior coatings such as LifePaint or Texture Coatings which is better product. These products are impermeable to water, heat reflecting qualities that maintain your home protected for many many years.
KITCHEN
If your kitchen’s visual design is trapped in the 1970’s or 1980’s, then it could probably use a visual update. You can change the entire appearance of your kitchen by simply re-painting the walls and cabinets, and by upgrading all of your cabinet hardware. Of course, you can go the extra mile and install new cabinets, new counter tops and new floors as well. Depending on the extent of your kitchen renovation, you could recoup as much 70 percent of your kitchen renovation costs. Not to mention that a newly renovated kitchen often attracts home buyers if you’re looking to sell.
